About the Wisconsin Chapter of the American Parkinson’s Disease Association
The Wisconsin Chapter of the American Parkinson’s Disease Association is honored to continue the legacy of the Parkinson’s Half Marathon, 5K & More. The Nassett family and friends began this tradition in 2012. We are thankful to them for allowing us to continue their legacy. It has been the #1 fundraiser for the Wisconsin Chapter of APDA, with donations totaling over $400,000. An incredible achievement that’s possible because of YOU!
The proceeds of this race support educational programs and exercise classes for people with Parkinson’s disease and help provide financial support to Wisconsin families struggling to afford all the additional costs of life with Parkinson’s. Simply put, your generosity helps to provide education and support to everyone in Wisconsin affected by Parkinson’s disease, helping them live life to the fullest.
As a valued member of this community, your extra involvement is greatly appreciated! Post on social media using #parkinsonshalfmarathon, create a team and get your friends and family involved, or set a fundraising goal and encourage your network to give. Every effort helps support those affected by Parkinson’s disease!
