The Greywolf Foundation was proud to be the primary sponsor for the 2023 American Parkinson Disease Association (ADPA) Wisconsin Chapter’s Half Marathon, 5K & More held on Saturday, April 15 at Bakken Park in Cottage Grove, Wisconsin. Over 700 people participated, volunteered, or came out to support and celebrate the runners and walkers.
“We were thrilled to introduce the Greywolf Foundation as the Platinum sponsor of the 2023 Parkinson’s Half Marathon, 5K & More,” said Megan Ramstack, APDA Wisconsin Chapter Coordinator. “Their dedication to bring positive, lasting impact to the community perfectly complements the APDA values of optimism, health, and community support.
The event raised over $63,000, with 75 percent of that staying in Wisconsin to help those with Parkinson’s and their loved ones. “Without the support of the Greywolf Foundation, our event wouldn’t have been possible. We look forward to working with them in the future,” added Ramstack.
“We were happy to support the fight against Parkinson’s, especially with this wonderful event held in our backyard in Cottage Grove,” said Andrew Haring, Director of the Greywolf Foundation. “It was a bright, sunny day; not only with the weather, but also with the attitudes, generosity and help of all the people who supported such a meaningful cause.”
