Following the first 2023 quarterly meeting of its Board of Directors, the Greywolf Foundation made its first charitable donations of the year, proudly supporting 10 different charitable organizations and efforts. Half of these charitable grants went to organizations previously supported by the Greywolf Foundation, with five organizations receiving support from the Greywolf Foundation for the first time.

The Greywolf Foundation is the platinum sponsor for the upcoming APDA Wisconsin Chapter’s Parkinson’s Half Marathon, 5K & More, which will be held in Cottage Grove’s Bakken Park, the morning of April 15. The event features timed Half Marathon and 5K races, a 1 Mile Walk, a Kids Run, as well as an Event Wristband option for non-race participants. The Greywolf Foundation is continuing its support of the Real Estate Alliance for Charity (REACH) Wisconsin with an annual supporting sponsorship, the River Food Pantry in its efforts to aid Dane County residents facing food insecurity, and the Play 4 Cade youth baseball tournament in Rincon, WI, which funds scholarships and raises awareness for organ donations. Additionally, the Greywolf Foundation was a red level sponsor for the Filipinx American Student Organization’s Philippine Culture Night at UW Madison and will continue to be a gold sponsor of the Summer Courtyard Concert Series at the Schauer Arts Center in Hartford, WI.

The Greywolf Foundation is beginning new relationships with impactful charities. This quarter we purchased a table at the Habitat for Humanity of Washington and Dodge Counties annual celebration dinner and was a bronze sponsor for VJS Community Fund’s upcoming 5K Run in May. The Greywolf Foundation will also be a sponsor for the 92nd Annual Cottage Grove Firemen’s Festival from June 15-18, 2023.

Finally, the Greywolf Foundation is excited to sponsor a “mission” for a month-long scavenger hunt benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Dane County. Scavenger hunters will have fun completing various tasks as part of the program, including Greywolf Foundation’s mission by visiting the arcade at BB Jack’s Cottage Grove. BBBS of Dane County will also be BB Jack’s Cottage Grove’s Pizza with a Purpose partner for the month of May, when $5 for every Pizza of the Week purchased during the month will be donated to the organization.

In its first two years, the Greywolf Foundation has now given over $130,000 in financial support to nearly 60 different local charitable organizations and efforts. The Board of Directors will next meet to review applications for support in early May.
